http://www.hyannismarathon.net/2005_course_popup.html

9a. The 10Km runners split with the marathon, half marathon
and marathon team relayers at 5.6 miles and go right by the old Fire Station
and continue on Scudder Avenue back to the Resort & Conference Center of Hyannis
- the marathon, half marathon and marathon team relayers take a left off of Scudder
Avenue onto Hyport-Craigville heading to Craigville Beach Road. We will have
arrows at 5.4 miles to help out so be on the lookout for them

9b. It is important that all runners run on the side of the road
that traffic flows - by mile 7 when the flow of runners spreads out folks
should be able to do this.

Our course is not completely closed to car traffic and when runners take up
both sides of the road needlessly it causes uneven car traffic flow. It makes things go
well when one lane is left open for easy car flow. We will have bike riders out on the course
watching for this, if a biker requests that you move over to the correct lane then please do.
-not doing so will be grounds for disqualification-

We will be very strict about this on Craigville Beach Road heading back to the hotel

-do not run against the flow of car traffic unless directed to-

-click for a larger map-

9c. We have toilets, EMT's, gatorade, water, vaseline & bananas at all of the aid stations and the
